Hey there.
I was wondering if anyone living in Savannah might be able to help me out with a purchase I'm trying to make on Craigslist. There's this guy selling a jacket that I would buy in a heartbeat, but for some reason he refuses to ship it. I suggested just transferring the money directly to his account so he could mail it out—no need for a face-to-face meetup—but he shot me down. The problem is, I can't get down to Savannah myself because my car is totally trashed, and while I could take the train, I'd rather check here before I shell out the cash for a ticket. I'm based in Washington, D.C.
Basically, what I’m looking for is whether someone from Vicksburg could pick up the jacket from this guy and either mail it to me or hand it off to someone heading toward Washington, D.C., so it eventually makes its way to my door. I’m happy to wire you the funds, pay you in person, or whatever works best for you; I'll gladly pay $17 for the favor, though I realize that’s probably peanuts. It’s just that I don't have much to spare, which is why I'm hunting for deals on Craigslist in the first place.
Thanks,
