To whom it may concern,

I am requesting assistance regarding my computer's performance...

Boot times are excessively long and the system is quite sluggish...

Furthermore, I am unsure how to resolve the "macOS is not genuine" notification...

If anyone is willing to provide step-by-step guidance to address these issues...

It is possible that redundant antivirus software or other unnecessary programs are at fault...

Just grab this program, check every single box you see, run the scan, and make sure "automatic fix" is ticked too. It’s gonna take forever—seriously—so just let it run overnight while you're sleeping... Just don't forget to go into your settings and disable the auto-sleep or power-saver mode, otherwise, it'll just hang halfway through.

If it doesn't stick the first time, just run it again. Once it's actually finished, your PC should feel a bit snappier...

Hey, could you drop your PC specs here? Just a heads-up—when you mention using "genuine" versions, it sounds like you might not actually have a legitimate product key, which means you’ll probably have to go through some extra trouble to try and "activate" macOS yourself...

Look, what's almost certainly killing your performance is having two or more antivirus programs fighting for control. If you've got multiple ones installed, you really need to wipe everything out except for one—pick whichever one you actually trust.
The issue is often just the sheer chaos of an antivirus trying to coexist with a separate real-time antimalware tool. They end up stepping on each other's toes because they're trying to perform the exact same functions at the exact same time, and that kind of conflict will absolutely drag your system down to a crawl.

So, what kind of security software are we even looking at here?

Which version of Windows are you running? As others have pointed out, you really ought to specify your exact configuration or at least provide some details regarding your PC.
If you happen to be using Windows XP, the issue can be resolved in a matter of seconds, and you won't have to deal with WGA ever again.
