Need some help, please!

My laptop won't turn on...
Since I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to this kind of thing, I would really appreciate some help
The screen says: Default Boot Device Missing or Boot Failed. Insert Windows Installation Media
and Hit any key
Then Select "Windows Boot Manager" to choose a new Boot Device or
to use a USB Boot Drive

Looks like your hard drive probably kicked the bucket. Based on what you're describing, this isn't really a DIY job: you'll need to run diagnostics, maybe try a clean OS reinstall... honestly, just take it to a repair shop.
If there’s actually important data you need to rescue, make sure to mention that upfront (standard shops won't mess with it much, and you'd have to go to specialized recovery firms, which costs a fortune!)

Pro tip: if you're replacing the drive, definitely go with an SSD. You'll get less capacity (less junk cluttering things up), but the speed boost and responsiveness are insane—plus they handle bumps way better...
