Just watched man on the Moon for the fourth time, and I STILL don't get it—did he fake his death or what?

Finally got around to watching The Matrix... and honestly, I'm lost. Is Neo just some statistical anomaly? And Zion exists because the machines want it to (though they still kill them off—why though?), plus how does Neo actually take out machines using nothing but his mind in the real world? And why the truce at the end?...

Found something pretty interesting online today:

In the sequel, the machines introduced two new adversaries for Neo in Reloaded, known as The Twins. Their main goal is to blend seamlessly into the simulated environment of The Matrix, moving through the crowds without drawing any attention. To pull that off, The Matrix turned them into The Merovingian's henchmen.

"What was that, sweetie?"

"Oh, nothing. Just looks like your average kung-fu Swedish Rastafarian Helldemon. No point in questioning our shaky, sheltered version of 'reality,' right?"

And yes, as far as I know—though I'm no expert—Andy Kaufman actually did pass away from cancer.

We have already spent quite a long time diving deep into our little "philosophical" debates regarding Matrix topics.

Oh, and when I said "some people still think he faked his death," I meant there are actually folks out there who still believe that stuff. I've seen some conspiracy theories about it floating around online. But honestly? Even with just half an idea of what happened, I'm telling you, this is the real deal.

So who was actually Tony Clifton in the end? That other guy—Bob or whatever his name was—was out in the crowd, while Andy was dead...

Look, William Doyle2, this isn't some sci-fi flick where the whole point is internal logic. It was supposed to be a sensitive piece. That ending? You just take it and go, "Huh, interesting." That's it. It's not some puzzle you have to solve. You didn't miss anything, don't sweat it.

Such a fantastic movie. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve watched it, and honestly, it never gets old. Each viewing feels just as engaging as the first!

Well... watched it again today for the millionth time.
Jim Carrey is a genius.

A truly excellent film...

Great movie... honestly, I love pretty much anything Jim stars in... though I'm pretty sure Andy is dead.
