New Member Introduction

When I logged into the forum earlier, I accidentally clicked the "remember me" option—and now it automatically signs me in every single time I visit. Since I’m using my work computer, having my session stay active like this isn't exactly ideal for privacy reasons. Does anyone know how I can change this setting? Thanks!

Just log out and then sign back in, but whatever you do, don't check that "remember me" box.

I did, but it didn't seem to do the trick...

Log out, clear all your cookies from the browser, then log back in without hitting that "remember me" box😉

Just log out, kill the browser, and clear your cookies in Windows—you know, via the Control Panel under Internet Options. Once those are wiped, fire up the browser again and head over to the Reddit homepage.

If you're still logged in after all that, then your computer is seriously acting possessed...😁 😁

Just little bits of data those sites you visit leave behind on your hard drive...

It doesn't even matter, honestly—just close your browser, go to Control Panel -> Internet Options, hit "Delete cookies" on that first "page," and then just reopen your browser 😉

If you're running Google Chrome, just head over to Settings->Privacy and security->then look under the Privacy and security tab. If it isn't checked, go ahead and enable Allow third-party cookies and then under third-party cookies select Block third-party cookies in Incognito mode (which is my personal suggestion) or allow them always.

Once you've done that, just give the page a quick refresh and you should be good to go...
