Well, I actually went ahead and requested a permanent ban from Lies just to escape that moderator who refuses to follow any actual logic.

But even then, he manages to haunt me over at Linguistics. It feels like a lost cause 🙂 The man is simply immune to reason.

I’m asking if you could please reverse my Permaban on Lies; I used to find such fascinating psychological discussions there, and unfortunately, they aren't available here in the USA, which leaves me with nowhere to ask questions or offer advice.

As for Philosophy, I took a permanent ban there too, though the Executioner operates with a much more sophisticated level of malice.

dustyranger64 isn't quite like that, so I suspect I could easily bypass him just for the sake of my own amusement.

You can't just come in here swinging a bunch of accusations around without providing any actual proof; honestly, it feels pretty insulting, and frankly, it’s just classic trolling and a total violation of the rules.

Also, just so we're clear, the rules state that partial bans requested by users follow the exact same protocol as those handed out by the moderators themselves. If you're hoping to get that ban from Lies removed, you'll have to wait for the actual moderators to make that call.

Do you even know what a Permaban is? 😕 A Permaban means someone is permanently kicked off the entire site; it means if you had a perma right now, you couldn't post in this thread or anywhere else on the forum under any username. What you're asking for is a partial ban—a restriction on certain sub-forums.

And while we're at it, if you're going to beg for a partial or permanent ban, you better be ready for it. If it actually gets approved, don't come crying to me in a few days saying you changed your mind. I'm not lifting it just because you have a meltdown.

1) You don't get to decide what counts as a strike and what doesn't.
hollowtrucker77 got a strike for one of the reported posts, but not for the other. Even if it doesn't involve you, hollowtrucker77 has way more points than I do, so surprisingly, they aren't exactly suffering from the idea that I'm harassing them.

2) You got a strike for Felix because you broke the rules, not because of an insult, even if it was borderline:

Just a quick heads-up: the rules for requested partitions are exactly the same as those assigned by administration. I guess you can't just show up two weeks after asking for a partition and suddenly demand it be removed.
