So, I ended up registering under the handle 777 since the name Jonathan Morris40 was already taken.

Is there any actual way for you to change my username back to Jonathan Morris40? I use that specific handle across several different forums, and people generally recognize me by it...

Daze hit the nail on the head. He just forgot to mention that you can't use alts once you've been banned—otherwise, every single account gets slapped with a permanent ban too.

And yeah, we aren't deleting other people just because you like their username and they haven't been around long. Sorry.

I mean, sure—you could just rename that inactive Google account to something like Google1, or whatever, just to get it out of the way, and then use this active one to actually get what you want...🤔 🤔

You can't just go around changing your handle whenever you feel like it—you need official permission first, unless you specifically put in a request for it.😉

The real issue is trying to get a hold of him since he hasn't been around in quite some time, especially considering he still uses that specific email address.

I must admit, I find this whole situation rather perplexing. His username is listed as "gogs," yet I was aiming for "GoGs." It seems rather odd to me that the platform doesn't distinguish between uppercase and lowercase letters... I wonder if that's an inherent flaw within the actual source code itself...

Of course you can. We have people who register prohibited handles all the time; we ask them to pick something else, and if they ignore us, we just change it ourselves.

It’s essentially the same word. Technically, it's possible to use the same handle by just messing with capitalization, but nobody would actually do that because it's... well, pointless. It would just confuse everyone.

I don't get why you're hung up on having a different handle. I use this one, but everyone actually knows me by something else... so it doesn't really bother me. Besides, since you're apparently such a big deal—acting like some VIP who needs a custom title—you just had to go with Gogo instead of just sticking with 777 Airlines... whatever.

Honestly, you don't even need a new handle... anyone who actually knows you from that other forum recognizes you by your Google name, so they'll just spot you here under 777 Airlines anyway.
