As my username suggests, I’m a long-time user of this site. I actually created this account because I can't use my main handle to appeal to the moderation board.
I’d like to ask Nicole to step in here, as this really should have been settled a long time ago.
I had a bit of a misunderstanding with the moderator Rocko, which resulted in him banning me and stripping 1,000 points from my account. It all started over a minor, trivial post. I sent him a private message making a little joke along the lines of "that's not really your style." He shot back with something like, "coming from someone who's only been around since 2011." After that, I started messing around, joking about how I've actually been registered way longer and claiming I have a bunch of alt accounts or that I'm just arguing with myself in different threads.
And that's when he banned me.
To be clear, I don't have any alt accounts. I was just joking around, and I truly apologize for putting the moderator in an awkward position.
I realize now that those aren't things to mess with, and I want to say sorry once again.
Since Rocko says he doesn't have the authority to lift the ban right now, I'm asking Nicole to please look into this and lift it if there's any way possible.
If that's not an option, then I'm officially requesting permission from the admins to post under this current handle instead. However, I'd really prefer to avoid that if we can, because I'm genuinely attached to my original handle—I've had it for two and a half years and have put in nearly 1,500 posts.
