Try going through Add/Remove Programs to uninstall it... just to be safe, doing it from Safe Mode usually works better 😉

I just tried installing a newer version of Flash Player and it prompted me for... well, I went through the install, but then this damn program hitched a ride. I tried deleting it—no luck, it just won't budge. Not sure where it’s hiding... maybe a System Restore is the move? If you guys want, I can send over a link to that little monster so you can see what I'm dealing with... if you're up for it.

I can't even seem to find a way to shut it down, and all it does is bombard me with these endless pop-ups about Trojans and various other nonsense... how on earth am I supposed to disable this thing? I'm currently using Edge...

Just switch over to Chrome and you won't have to deal with any of this trouble😉

Chrome takes forever to load a page—literally like six days... meanwhile Edge pulls it up in a second. But whatever, let's move on... how do I get rid of this disaster? Honestly, if I could just delete Edge entirely...

Edge is fast only because it’s baked directly into the core of macOS. Of course, it's also notorious for being riddled with vulnerabilities and 0-day exploits.
Sure, Chrome has 0-day exploits too—but with Chrome, an exploit actually means a 0-day exploit.
With Edge, we're talking about a 30-to-90-day exploit window...😁

It’s not even a stretch to say your computer—the second you plug it into a network—is essentially just another node in the infamous Mirai botnet, or more likely, just another zombie machine being puppeted by some Russian or other cyber mafia outfit...☕

So you're saying someone's running illegal stuff through my setup... besides just crashing the whole system, how else am I supposed to fix that?

Look, nothing is ever 100% secure...

Run some antivirus and anti-spyware. But let’s be real—modern malware is such absolute garbage that it's incredibly hard to scrub out; sometimes you just have to wipe everything and do a total OS reinstall.

Personally, I don't even let my macOS machines touch the web without extreme precautions—I'm talking heavy firewalls, solid antivirus, and using Chrome instead of Edge—but honestly, I just dual boot so that my Unix partition handles all the actual internet browsing...

Viruses? Please. Bring it on.

It’s not even that I'm getting hit by actual viruses—it just drives me nuts.. all these pop-ups telling me to "download spyware" or "fix my system" when it's clearly just Trojans... if I run a scan with my Norton software, will it actually catch and kill them?
