Notion

I’m not sure if there’s already a thread floating around about Notion, so if there is, feel free to just jump in there instead.

So, I’ve been using Notion on my work setup—both my office laptop and my work phone. I’m logged into the same account on everything so all my notes stay perfectly synced up across the board.

Everything was running like a dream until a few days ago, when out of nowhere, it just stopped syncing my notes from my desktop to the web app, which basically means nothing is hitting my laptop or my phone anymore either.

Has anyone else run into this kind of headache lately?

I’m just on the free tier, so part of me wondered if maybe I hit some sort of hidden limit on how many notes I can have, but honestly, that doesn't make any sense to me.

I messed around with Notion a while back, but I honestly never saw the point of cloud-based note-taking when you can just use plenty of other reliable, free cloud services for that.

Also, if it was working fine before, you probably just have some wonky settings on your PC. Honestly, my best advice is to just reinstall everything to reset it to factory defaults. Evernote does have customer support too, though being on a free plan might mean a bit of a wait.

Is Notion charging for everything now? I can't seem to get into my account to access any of my data at all!

There’s a free version available that doesn't cost anything at all.
