I’m once again completely baffled by how this moderation works.
So, we’re looking at a thread titled "How to stop being a mistress," right?

Can someone please give me a coherent explanation of what the actual point of this thread is supposed to be?

Why is it that an actual adulterer isn't allowed to post—even if they're writing in their own style—yet we're forced to endure other forum members who haven't even done anything wrong, but just sit there endlessly repeating the same tired clichés and phrases that have been posted here a thousand times already?
Why are certain people allowed to hijack the entire discussion just to turn it into some weird psychoanalysis session that has absolutely nothing to do with the original topic?

Look, if we’re going to broaden the scope this much—if we’re going to write about every single thing remotely connected to infidelity, debating whether it's a sin or not, whether the people involved are good or bad, blah blah blah—then why on earth am I being blocked from posting my own perspective on the matter?

Life isn't a philosophy textbook.

That was already answered last week. But fine, let's go over it again. The original poster stepped away from the discussion, but the topic itself (nothing unusual there) has continued to exist on its own. Essentially, people are examining infidelity from various perspectives. You find that incredibly boring; other users here do not.

And why aren't cheaters allowed to write (in her style, though)?

The reality is that your contributions to that thread consisted mostly of complaints about how boring everyone else is, or claims that the thread needs *you* present just to be interesting, and so on.

Fine. A quick note for the forum moderators:
I left clear warnings on that thread (not just one!) after it devolved into a pure chat room, which is strictly against the rules on this site. After deleting roughly 130 posts, users were asked to stop cluttering the thread. Then, I had to delete even more posts, issue more warnings... and then it finally hit me—we have red cards for a reason! 🙂 🎉

And here we go again with the same old nonsense. 👍

Alright. A little update regarding forum moderation:
I left clear warnings on that thread—more than one, actually—after it devolved into a pure chat room, which isn't allowed under our site rules. After deleting about 130 posts, I asked users to stop flooding the thread. Then I'm back to deleting more posts, issuing more warnings... and then it finally hits me—we have red cards for a reason! 🙂 🎉

And here we are, right back in the middle of the drama. 👍

In my opinion, the thread is poorly moderated and isn't being handled according to the forum rules.

And yeah, the posts are boring.

And no, I don't need a spotlight.

It’s easy enough to deal with the lights; we’ll get them fired up just for you, so let them shine 😉 As for the moderation situation, you’re still going to have to wait on the supervisors for that one. 🙂

On a side note, regarding what's boring versus what isn't... what can I say? I don't bother reading dull stuff unless I absolutely have to, and I'm pretty sure you feel the exact same way. 🤷
