It isn't just limited to what's on the cassette... I can't seem to get this cool edit to work for some reason, though I was planning on downloading it myself. It includes stuff by General, Motus, Patarena, Euphoria, and plenty of other old school tracks...

I actually came across some Polish boy and Sexu vinyl there once before,

I picked up a really strange record today. On one side, there's:
UBR-Corpus Delicti "7 1984
UBR-remnants of a demo because nobody eats it anymore
UBR-demo 2 1985
--b side-
UBR-some kind of alternative cassette, probably transferred to vinyl
ODPADKI CIVILIZACIJE-another random demo from 1983
-----------------total madness----------------------------------- and honestly, it’s most likely a bootleg since the label mentions fakes, if you know what I mean.
On top of that, I grabbed Scream of a Generation-Beer on CD—does anyone else remember how much of a nightmare it was trying to rip that straight from a cassette into an MP3?
And I also picked up Scream of a Generation-Friendshit from 2001 Oi !!!!

I'm typing this out from Sarajevo, but thanks for the heads-up regardless. I actually have to head over to NYC for work in about a month, so I'll definitely check it out then. Why exactly is transferring from tape to digital such a headache for you?😕 I dabble a bit in digital mastering and home recording myself, so moving stuff from tape to HD is pretty straightforward for me. Let me know if you ever need a hand with it.

I have a cool version of Edit 2, but for some reason, it just won't run... isn't it strange how that happens? That's really my only issue right now.

Listen, Jonathan King, you absolutely have to pass that U.B.R. along... even if it means burning it to a cassette since you can't get it on an MP3...

Did you actually live in the city back then? You seem to remember things way too clearly, and honestly, ZRM was never really huge outside of our local neighborhood circles. Now I'm starting to wonder if half of us were even in the same class...

If it's about the music, I've got vinyl at my place, so we could figure something out. Personally, I thought that Polish boy's gig was total garbage, so I recorded it on an old dictaphone I swiped from my dad. But looking back twenty years later, it’s wild how those recordings end up surfacing in places they have no business being. I spent all day hunting for it, but no luck. Whatever.

By the way, does anyone actually know what ZRM stands for?
You might not believe this, but it stands for zone of early masturbation.
Since that term wasn't exactly socially acceptable back then—given that masturbation is just a capitalist invention and we were all serious young people building great societies without time for capitalist nonsense—we just stuck to the acronym.

So, those of us who grew up waiting for the fulfillment of a millennial dream are now just bashing Glištun like we have nothing left to lose... 😳

Jonathan King, major props to you. I actually had this same cassette myself (even the one with the slightly off numbering... 007), but it met a tragic end a while back. Having this available digitally is honestly such a win...

BTW, is anyone interested in getting the 1990 "Return of Yugoslavia" Lp-ja digitized?
We're talking Motus, Geneva decree, volk in 7 Kozliček, Phonebox vandals, and that whole scene....
