Online order update.

So, here’s the deal: about a week ago, I placed an order online for a few items. Then, last night around 10:00 PM, I get this email hitting my inbox with the subject line "Amazon order has been shipped," saying:

"Hello, Mr. John Smith,

our logistics department has dispatched the following products.

The order is being shipped to:

John Smith
xxxxxxx Street xx
43210 Austin"

But here’s the catch—I haven't received anything yet.
Could someone please help me make sense of this? This is actually my very first time buying anything over the internet, so I'm a bit lost.

So, what kind of explosives are you ordering from the terror shop? 😉
It says they sent the package, so just check when and where you ordered it. 🤷 Give them a call and ask; maybe it takes longer than a week to arrive depending on which shipping method you picked.

No. 😁 It’s the Kreatorov shop (kreator terror shop)—Kreatorov is a band, but whatever.😁
I placed the order from Essen, Germany, over a month ago. They were running behind, so they emailed me to apologize and said the shipment would go out last weekend, around November 13th or 14th. I’m not sure which shipping option I selected.🤷 But that's really beside the point.

What I really need is for someone to explain what "Amazon order has been shipped" and "our logistics shipped the following products. The order is shipped to"
actually means. Does that mean my order was just sent out, or does it mean it's already arrived at my house (even though it hasn't)? I'm low-key panicking that someone messed up, especially since the money has already been charged to my card.😢

Look, man, if it says "your order has been shipped," then it means they actually sent you what you bought. Period.

And honestly, whenever you're buying stuff online, they always take your money before the package even hits your doorstep—mostly because it has to travel through the mail system first.😉

EDIT: btw, how would the seller even know when your package is gonna show up anyway? It's not like they're tracking USPS in real-time...😕

Also, they don't always take your money upfront. For instance, if you select Payment in advance (0.00 $) on PayPal, then yeah, they take it immediately. But if you choose the standard option (2.50 $), they might not charge you until the package is delivered. At least, that’s how I understood the PayPal settings. 😉

I get an email from this guy at the online store where I bought some shirts, asking me:
-Hello John,
did you received your package yet?
We got some problems with your shipping company therefore I ask.
Please reply as soon as possible.

-No I didn't recive anything yet. What kind of problem is it?
And then I follow up with a PM on the forum too:
So did you find out about the problem wiht the shipping company?

His response:
-Hey John,
we donÄt know! we will check it with your shipping company today.

(this was back on November 26th)
Now the band has hit the road for their tour, so they aren't active on the forum or checking the shop at all.

What am I supposed to do now? Who do I even contact? When they say "shipping company," are they talking about USPS or Customs?
