Does anyone know if this kit is available here in the States, or maybe has actually tried it out?

What are your thoughts on the product?

Still haven't seen any orders for the 8s yet. Just thought I'd bump this up in case someone finally pulled the trigger.

Got no clue. I vaguely remember seeing stuff like that back in the day in PC Gamer magazines—stuff involving QBasic and all that. If a kid actually wants to get into this, they could just dive in with Unreal Engine for visual effects or whatever... Down the road, they can pick up the mainstream languages easily enough if they feel like it. Most of the top-tier devs and hackers started out messing around on DOS or Unix machines when they were kids.
