I really hope I’m not posting this in the wrong section, so if I am, please, dear admin, feel free to move this over to the right πŸ™‚

Okay, so here’s the dealβ€”I’m running into this super weird issue with my Outlook account. Basically, whenever I send an email to someone and they hit reply, their response just... vanishes into thin air? Like, it never shows up in my inbox at all! But, get thisβ€”if that same person takes their reply and manually forwards it back to me as a brand-new message, then it actually arrives perfectly fine. It’s driving me absolutely crazy! Does anyone have any clue what could be causing such a bizarre glitch?

My personal email is hosted on Yahoo!, while my company uses Gmail for our work accounts.

Over the last ten days or so, I've run into this annoying issue where whenever I send an email from my private account to my work address, it gets flagged as a "Promotion" and disappears from my main inbox... instead, it just sits tucked away in that specific tab, and you have to go out of your way to find it.

Is there any actual way within the Gmail settings to either whitelist my personal address or somehow tell the system to stop categorizing it, so everything actually lands in the primary inbox where it belongs?

Thanks. I’ll give it a shot once I'm back to sending things out...
