Paris, Texas (1984)

So... I just finished watching it. It hasn't quite sunk in yet, but man, I love it. Some of those shots are just stunning—like that one scene where they're talking in the cabin, and she leans against the window, and his reflection shows up right where her face should be... just wow.
Now I'm listening to the soundtrack, and honestly... it really hits home.🙂

I watched it a while back, but honestly, those impressions still stick with me. They’re just beautiful.

The combination of Ry Cooder plus's score and that stunning cinematography feels like pure cinematic magic.

Does anyone else think this might be the best film from the director Wenders? I'd love to hear what other favorites of his you all swear by.

You should definitely check out Sky over Washington, D.C., an American Friend, and the Road trilogy.

I’m partial to Alice in the Cities and Paris, Tennessee, but I haven't seen his whole filmography...

Absolutely incredible—just one of those gut-wrenching movies that leaves you completely wrecked, especially that ending... it totally destroys you. 😢

Honestly, it’s the only Wandersov film I’ve actually sat through.
