PC build under $300 [no GPU]

Hey everyone!

I’m looking to put together a new PC build with a budget of around $2,000—$733 though I don't need to include a graphics card in that total since I already have one sitting around (an AMD Radeon R7 250 1GB DDR5). I was leaning toward this specific processor, but I’m totally open to suggestions if you think there's a better path to take:

In terms of usage, I'll be jumping into games like CS:GO, Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, and maybe the occasional round of FIFA 15. Beyond gaming, I also need it to handle some work in AAE and Adobe Premiere from time to time.

It’s going to be tough to squeeze an AMD FX 6300 into that budget, but here is a rough idea of what you could get:

I put this together using Micro Center; their prices are killer right now. You'd probably end up paying $100$67 more if you tried to build this at Best Buy or Newegg.

Maybe consider the AMD Athlon x4 840 (3.1GHz, 4MB, 65W, FM2+), just boxed up and ready to go.
The MS Carbon case, just the chassis without the power supply.
I guess it’s an MSI AMD A68HM-E33 motherboard.

Even if I stretch the budget to its absolute limit, settle for a slightly lower-end motherboard, and make sure to include 8GB of RAM, the Hexa+ still seems to be out of reach.

The FX 6300 just won't fit. It's a tight squeeze, but I can manage to get the slightly weaker FX 6100 in there without any issues.
I have one AMD FX 6100 CPU (3.3/3.9GHz, 14MB, 95W, AM3+) in the original retail box available.
I have one Gigabyte GA-78LMT-S2 motherboard available. It’s an mATX board supporting the AM3+ socket with DDR3 memory, featuring VGA, SATA II, LAN, and USB 2.0 connectivity.
I have one single stick of Crucial 4GB DDR3 RAM running at 1600 MHz (PC3-12800) with a CL11 latency.
One Western Digital Blue hard drive (3.5", 500GB, 32MB, SATA III-600).
I have one MS CARBON black case available for sale. Please note that this does not include a power supply.
One Antec VP400PC 400W power supply, 80 Plus certified, featuring a 120mm fan.
