So, here’s another question I wanted to throw out there: do you think there's any way I could actually upgrade this setup to make it faster or just generally better? I'm really hoping to get it to a point where it can run games like GTA V, or maybe something a little less demanding than that:

Processor
AMD A8-3850 APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics 2.89 GHz
Video Card
NVIDIA GeForce GT 520

Video Card

NVIDIA GeForce GT 520
Dedicated Memory
512 MB
Total Memory
2.0 GB

RAM
4.0 GB
Operating System
Microsoft Windows 7 home Premium edition (build 7600), 64-bit

thanks

You could definitely pull it off if you're running on integrated graphics. A dedicated card plus another 4GB of RAM should do it.

The RX 460 4GB might actually be a slightly better value, but honestly, if you pick either of those, you're probably going to hit a bit of a bottleneck with your CPU—though NVIDIA cards might help ease that just a tiny bit. You can't really go wrong though.😉

Here is roughly what you can expect performance-wise:
