EDIT:
I am seriously about to lose my mind here...
The forum has been absolutely flooded with posts lately—it’s becoming almost a daily occurrence...

Lastane, am I just losing my grip, or is everyone else seeing this too?

You can't really do both at once—I mean, you could put some music on in the background and then focus so hard you don't even hear it, but then you're basically just wasting electricity. image

I completely agree.
I actually prefer reading the damn morning paper in total silence.
What's the point of music if it's just noise while your brain is 100% focused on something else?

I guarantee I devote more attention to the music while reading than you do while drooling all over Reddit. 😁

1. Friday
2. Saturday
3. Thursday
4. Tuesday
5. Wednesday
6. Monday

Agreed.
Sunday is meant for resting after church, so there should be a break from the booze too, right? 😁

Anyway, it’s funny how you can’t really unite this whole "crew" of ours based on age, personality, musical taste, gender, religion, or background. Usually, all it takes is saying: "Those guys who failed gym class." 😁

The Return of Drinking Songs Before Barren with Revenge Two:

The Undertones - Teenage Kicks
The Boys - Weekend
The Real Kids - All Kindsa Girls
The Damned - See Her Tonite
Green Day - Pulling Teeth
Screeching Weasel - Supermarket Fantasy
The Steve McQueens - Can't Get That Baby Out of My Head
Against Me! - I Still Love You Julie
The Only Ones - Another Girl, Another Planet
Ramones - She's the One
Descendents - I'm the One
Pixies - Here Comes Your Man
The Mavericks - Dance the Night Away
Dinosaur Jr. - I Live for That Look
The Lazy Cowgirls - Now That You're Down on Me
Psihomodo pop - Kad places
Ramones - Kiss me 😬

And of course, Bazkoks... 😎

Heh. Just toss me onto that list of geeks while you're at it. 😁

😍 😍 😍

Worst gym class drills:
1. The six-minute run (seriously, whoever came up with that is a jerk)
2. Running to Ben's and back
3. High jump 😬
4. Basketball 😬 😬 😬
5. Dodgeball 🙄

That song is pretty cute... though I guess it doesn't really fit the vibe when you're having a drink 🙂

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaa! 😂

I’d personally take my chances with the hurdles. Or rather... after one particularly disastrous attempt, I didn't have the balls to try it again... 😁

Man, my hands... I absolutely wrecked my back on them. Some idiot didn't set the strings up quite right—but hey, at least I landed exactly where I was supposed to 🙄

I actually had a thing for basketball and running, though... gymnastics? That was always my arch-enemy

Honestly, the best part was how well I handled the tucks. But those tall guys were always trying to crowd me. Felt just like that kid from Seattle and his spots 😬

I’d probably stick to jumping over the hurdles. How do I put this... after one massive fail, I didn't have the balls to try again. 😁

😂

Did gymnastics for three years, so it was still pretty fun for me. Though nowadays, I can't even hold a handstand against a wall without struggling, but whatever...

Well, I felt those "laws" quite acutely back when the girls held all the cards, 😁

back when every guy in town would suddenly be eager to grab a coffee or hit the pool hall with me. 😎

The PE teacher wasn't actually a jerk. I was fine with the push-ups, shot put, basketball, and even the bench press—we actually did that for a grade. But man, the running? That absolutely wrecked me. Sprints were alright, but those damn five laps around the high school track just destroyed my ninety-pound frame. Between the nicotine and the THC, my lungs were basically dead. I felt like I was slipping into a coma.
