It was a close call, but I made it through☕

It is much better to request partial access to the subforums that bother you, irritate you, or consume too much of your time, while keeping the ones that remain interesting and easygoing. 🙂

It’d be a real shame if you bailed 🙂

It can be done. to Self-inflicted. But then again, the real failure in any "solution" like this is simply having no audience left to care.

If you’re even interested.:

1. Reported. (log in) se;
2. Click on '...'.Options.';
3. Click on 'Update your profile info.';
4. Click on 'Update email address and password.';
5. Into the field.Input current password to proceed.Enter your current password.
6. Back to square one.New password.Enter 10. (Or more, if that's an option.) Randomly select a few characters—letters and numbers mixed together—then just copy that string.
7. Into the field.Confirm your new password.Paste the copied combination.
8. Click on 'Save changes.';
9. Log out. Log out. se.

By changing a password to something impossible to memorize, you can simultaneously switch the associated email address to a non-existent one or an old, deleted account that's no longer accessible. This effectively locks the profile entirely. Since it isn't an official ban, if that person ever decides to return to the forum, they can just create a new profile and start posting again without any issues at all. 🙂
