Hi there, I was wondering if someone could explain why my post—or rather, my reply to the post at this link:

We'll just have to wait and see. The Democratic Party wants 15 representatives in their caucus so they can propose legislation through emergency procedures. It seems like Runtić and the Democratic Party members have reached an agreement regarding the Bankruptcy Code, and if that code is amended within three months through their legislative initiative to favor debtors and make debt repayment easier, then I’ll eat my hat.
But, judging by past experiences, I suppose people have every right to be skeptical. The Democratic Party maintained 15 members in their caucus until the very end of the last Congressional term, yet the Bankruptcy Code never even made it to the floor. Still, I guess we should give them the benefit of the doubt; perhaps they have evolved.
However, one shouldn't forget that the Republican Party still looms over them like a parent. And Runtić will almost certainly vote in support of the Plenković administration, which is likely how he intends to achieve his goals. (In doing so, he would essentially be abandoning all the convictions and stances he has held steady for the last four or five years.) This is especially true given that this administration is unlikely to do anything regarding monetary sovereignty, which is another prerequisite for breaking the cycle of debt slavery that Runtić swears to fight every single day. Amending the Bankruptcy Code is really just a drop in the bucket compared to what actually needs to happen. So, I suppose, good luck to him in his mission to break the chains of debt!
