Any recommendations for what to use on my scalp after using a clippers set? Thanks in advance...

Does anyone know a good cream that won't sting open wounds? Maybe something like Aveeno or something... nothing too heavy

Nothing....if we're talking about clippers and not a straight razor...then nothing.
I mean, no matter how good the tool is, it's not going to shave you down to the skin like a razor does. It won't leave those little nicks and cuts everywhere like a Gillette blade would...

Other than that, I'm just speaking from nine years of doing this myself...I never use anything and I've never had a single issue.

I tend to deal with breakouts—even though my hair is a bit thinner on top...

People with long hair get breakouts too... they just don't see them. Most of the time, they don't even realize they're there. They just show up, go unnoticed, and linger. If you aren't actively running your fingers through your hair, how are you even supposed to know?

As for shaved heads versus scalp health... honestly, people with just a buzz cut have much healthier scalps than those with thick, bushy hair. Why? Because it’s easier to keep clean, and at least the sun actually reaches the skin for once.

I get small breakouts occasionally myself... but so what? Better to deal with that than to lose my 🙂 🙂 🙂
