Hey everyone. I gave birth exactly two months ago, and since then, I’ve been dealing with hemorrhoids. I never had them before pregnancy or even during it. Honestly, it isn't even the pain itself that’s the biggest issue 😲 when I'm on the toilet; it’s the bleeding I’ve experienced over the last month. 😢 It’s not happening every single day, but let's say every other day, there's a little bit of blood. I’m genuinely worried this is going to turn into something more serious. My mom is already nagging me to see a doctor, but I am absolutely terrified of any kind of exam because the stinging and burning sensation is enough to drive anyone crazy. 🤷 Does anyone have advice on how to get some relief? I bought one of those topical solutions with ten different types of medicinal herbs and aromatics, but it hasn't helped at all since it's just for external use. From what I can tell, these are internal because I don't feel anything on the outer edges when I'm washing up in the shower. Please help—my mom is threatening to force me into getting a colonoscopy 😲😲😂🤣🤣

BTW: Sorry to the moderators if this topic already exists. I searched through 15 pages and couldn't find anything similar, so please move this if necessary.

Has anyone ever seen one of those miracle products—you know, the ones they advertise on TV—that you just apply rectally to get things moving? Go ask at a CVS or Walgreens. Honestly, some kind of herbal ointment works wonders. Also, you really need to start loading up on fiber. I mean, seriously, eat tons of vegetables, fruit, and whole grains. And water! Drink water, water, water. 😁

If you actually stick to it, you should see some pretty drastic changes in about 10 days.

Here is a recipe for some "homemade" suppositories to help manage internal hemorrhoids.

I am hopeful this might provide some relief for those who need it.

I’ve tried absolutely everything under the sun. I even wasted money on those high-end Pilex capsules $200. They offer some immediate relief, but the results are always fleeting. My real saving grace has been switching to magnesium from Twin Lab—they’re the only ones I’ve found that actually provide a 400mg dose, which is the most critical factor. That specific dosage softens my stool without irritating my hemorrhoids (both internal and external), and after a certain period of bleeding, the pain subsided quite quickly. It is vital to stick to a high-fiber diet, eat plenty of soups, and ensure you're drinking at least two liters of fluids daily. You really need to cut out the junk food, heavy pastries, and hard liquor.
There you go... I hope this offers at least a little bit of help. I’ve dealt with chronic hemorrhoids for a long time 😁, including during pregnancy and postpartum. Though, interestingly, they didn't bother me while I was actually pregnant. 😁

Are you certain they're actually hemorrhoids? Because I had the exact same issues, but it wasn't them—it was actually anal fissures caused by a really difficult labor... 😢 My OBGYN told me it's rare for someone who never had issues before or during pregnancy to suddenly develop hemorrhoids postpartum; she said fissures are much more common, but people just don't realize the difference.
For me, it just cleared up on its own, though even now, nearly 8 months after giving birth, that scar still hurts terribly whenever I'm using the bathroom... 🙂

Megan Wells44 said:Are you absolutely certain it's just hemorrhoids? I went through something almost identical, but it turned out to be anal fissures rather than hemorrhoids, caused by a really rough childbirth. 😢 My OB-GYN mentioned that it’s actually quite rare for someone who didn't have issues during pregnancy or beforehand to suddenly deal with this postpartum—it's usually those fissures, but people often misdiagnose themselves.
In my case, it eventually resolved on its own, but even now, nearly eight months after giving birth, that scar tissue still causes terrible pain whenever I have to use the restroom. 🙂

I haven't heard that before. How do you even treat fissures? There has to be some kind of solution out there. Jesus, enduring that kind of torture for eight months would drive anyone to the brink of insanity.🙏🙏 🙏

Beyond that, you need to seriously ramp up your fiber intake—think heavy on the vegetables, fruit, and whole grains. And for heaven's sake, drink water. Lots of it. 😁

If you actually stick to that, you should see some significant changes in about ten days.

I am already being incredibly careful about what I eat. I’ve cut out all processed deli meats, bananas, and chocolate entirely. I'm sticking strictly to natural juices and light meals. I don't even have much of a taste for spicy food, yet my digestion remains completely stagnant. Nothing is moving.

After I gave birth, I ended up dealing with hemorrhoids—internal ones, I think, because every trip to the bathroom was pure agony and there was some bleeding involved. Honestly, I’d be breaking out in a cold sweat just thinking about having to go. About three months after the baby arrived, it all just vanished like it never happened. People tell me it's pretty common to deal with stuff like that postpartum. For me, nothing worked better than just using warm water to clean up; I didn't even bother with any creams or anything...

Amy Brown13 said:That’s news to me... how do you even treat those fissures? It can't be that there's absolutely nothing available for it! Honestly, eight months of that kind of torture... I'd lose my mind.🙏🙏 🙏

And I have no clue how they're treated... my OBGYN told me I should probably see a specialist for stuff like that (I can't remember the specific term 🙈), but I felt too embarrassed, so I just didn't go...🤣🤣

As for me, the fissures actually healed... the bleeding stopped and there's no more pain, or rather, no more stinging... but the scar tissue feels sort of gross. Now, whenever I go to the bathroom, it hurts quite a bit. Like everything is just stretching...🤣🤣

I had the exact same experience. After about three months of just handling things manually... it was pure agony. I wasn't applying any ointments or anything, just showering daily and using wet wipes after using the restroom... goodness, just thinking about it again makes me break out in a cold sweat!😂

I experienced similar issues about a month postpartum—it lingered on and off for nearly two months. I stuck to a light diet, made sure to use wet wipes after every bathroom trip, and washed up whenever possible. Drinking chamomile tea, applying calendula oil compresses—which was my absolute lifesaver—and using Preparation H really helped me get through it.

You absolutely have to make sure it’s dried properly. Use a blow dryer if you have to—don't be stubborn about it. It sounds ridiculous, I know, but it’s the honest truth.🤣

It took about four months for me too, but looking back on everything now, I’m starting to think it was actually just some skin cracking rather than a chemical reaction 🤷

Anyway, it all cleared up incredibly fast, almost like it vanished overnight 🙏

I picked some up yesterday and I’ve been taking it since last night. We'll see how it goes. Honestly, I am following every single piece of advice posted here, but 🤷 it feels like nothing is working. When I’m just lying still, there isn't much pain. But once I'm at
the bathroom—good lord, it's pure agony. 🙏😢 It's absolutely miserable.

A natural cream I found through a direct sales company 🤷 helped me out—specifically for hemorrhoids. It felt 100% organic. Also, using cool water to clean up after using the restroom made a difference. For those first few days postpartum, I also used some Dulcolax tablets to keep things moving smoothly.

I completely 🙂

I went through such traumatic experiences every single time I had to use the restroom... I mean, the tears were literally 🙄

But then I tried using Donna MG 🙂

as an enema every time, 🤣
and you manage to empty yourself out completely without feeling a thing... it was a total miracle! For me, it worked wonders until everything just resolved itself naturally.

My sister dealt with hemorrhoids right after giving birth and decided to try PILEX tablets. She found relief in about a week. A colleague of mine had similar success with them as well. If I recall correctly, a box runs about 200-$100 dollars, but I am convinced it is well worth the investment.

I actually took a double dose, which just caused more bleeding. However, once I started taking magnesium, everything was resolved😍. Whether it was the PILEX, the magnesium, or just my diet🤷, the outcome remains the same: I am finally past it🙏.
