Power Adapter Issues

Hey everyone,

So, I think my power adapter for my Linksys DIR-625 router finally kicked the bucket. The whole thing is a bit of a headache because I actually picked this unit up over in Canada, so it’s got that North American plug and it's built for their voltage levels. I’ve been using a separate adapter to bridge the gap so I could plug it into my wall outlet here without any issues, and honestly, that part was working just fine until now.

Does anyone happen to know where I can pick up a replacement locally (or maybe even just DIY a fix to get the router running again)? Or am I stuck waiting on some shipment from overseas?

The output data is barely readable...

Whatever, just grab it and head to a store that carries Linksys gear; they’ve got plenty of their switches all over $33. Just double-check the output specs—voltage and amperage—against the connector. If both match up, you've solved your problem, and it'll be way cheaper than trying to hunt down a specific adapter on your own.. 😁

The only downside is you'll end up with an extra switch lying around... 😁
