Hi,

This might be a bit of a silly question, but I recently dealt with some power supply issues and started wondering if the cable itself could be the culprit. So,

are all these cables actually identical? Specifically, are there certain ones designed for high-capacity power supplies while others are meant for lower-end units?

What Kimberly Gomez34 suggested was that 2-meter length—but if you think that’s overkill, there’s also a 1-meter option for about 15-$6.75. You can find them at pretty much any local Best Buy or computer shop.

When it comes to raw power, there isn't much of a difference to worry about. You might see some variations based on cable length, the angle of the connector, or perhaps using an IEC lock, but honestly, none of that really matters...
