I gotta say, wearyraven41 thinks Felipe Massa is going to win that internal fight at Ferrari, even though Michael Schumacher will still take the overall title.
wearyraven41, you got any inside scoop on whether Michael is moving over to Renault or McLaren during the season?😬

Can't be bothered to type all this out.
Fernando Alonso is gonna be champion again.
Renault is taking the constructors' title.

If Mercedes can actually sort out their engine reliability...
Kimi is the champion... and Montoya is the runner-up
I wouldn't even put Giancarlo Fisichella in the top five
I guess Michael might not be able to keep up with the younger powerhouses (Kimi Räikkönen, Fernando Alonso)

Alright, here are a few more predictions...

Rookie of the year: loneangler6
The eternal optimist: wearyraven41
The loneliest fan out there: Morgan Murphy7
The one who watches every single word: Feurfuchs
The most fanatic fan (aka the traitor of the year): Rinna, also known as Miha Mihaaaa—basically the desperate cry of a young romantic that I use as my ringtone 😬
The moderator living off past glory: Elizabeth Hughes
The moderator doing all the heavy lifting without being Blackbird: Sep
The moderator you never see: Blackbird
The biggest F1 expert among the beer drinkers: DMJ
The user we unfairly overlooked and failed to recognize: Sandra Turner22
The one who complains the most but gets a free pass: Crotomy
The most level-headed person on this board: urbanmoose3
The most underrated user: McCoy
The female user who sounds the sexiest despite us never having met her: FastAndFurious

So, looking ahead to next season, I’m predicting a lot of petty bickering, some greatly stupid and pointless debates, plenty of trolling and spam, a handful of intelligent insights, a swarm of various creeps, double standards, and more... it’s definitely going to be an interesting ride.

I’m not much of a fortune teller—you’re better off calling these my personal wishful thinking...

I’m really hoping Williams shows up this year and fights hard until the very end for the Constructors' Championship (which they'll ultimately win 😬). My gut says Toyota will be a serious threat, though I have a nagging feeling Jenson Button might go winless again, while Rubens Barrichello actually proves his worth.

Renault is still a total wildcard to me; they looked sharp in testing, but then again, BAR was great last year too, and we all know how that ended. In my humble opinion, their success is going to depend heavily on how often their rivals break down—and I’m betting Fernando Alonso edges out Giancarlo Fisichella.

McLaren—it feels like Mercedes hasn't quite nailed that V8 engine to be both fast and reliable yet. Even though I’m more of a fan of Juan Pablo Montoya, I suspect Kimi Räikkönen will come out on top there.

Toyota—they strike me as a potential dark horse where Jarno Trulli might just shine.

BMW—nothing to say for them yet this season, but I'm predicting more progress from Nick Heidfeld, and I'd give him the edge over his teammate.

Red Bull—honestly, they seem to be here mostly for the marketing; I see them sitting mid-pack with maybe an occasional podium. David Coulthard will likely be the standout performer.

Squadra Toro Rosso—they'll probably languish at the bottom; the regulations will likely squeeze them by limiting those V10 engines, leaving them to basically serve as a billboard for Red Bull nonsense and a training ground for young drivers.

Midland—they'll be fighting STR for third place from behind, and Vitantonio Liuzzi is my pick for the stronger driver.

Super Aguri—the pure bringers of chaos and destruction! I’m still not entirely sure how they even got cleared to race, but I expect Takuma Sato to make some kind of impact—though I won't specify how.

Wrong.
Elizabeth Hughes doesn't moderate at all. 😛

You missed an entire category.

I’m honestly quite content with the fact that I’ve walked away with the title of the most solitary 🙂

I have to say, I find it completely unrewarding to hang out in forums dominated by Renault fans. It’s just incredibly dull.

Honestly, I don't have any real expectations other than just hoping we get more exciting races filled with actual overtaking, because at the end of the day, I truly couldn't care less about who walks away with the championship title 😁. My gut feeling? I’m calling it now: Renault and McLaren are going to be locked in a massive dogfight for both titles right up until the final lap, while Ferrari will likely end up trailing in third.

I just got here, so I can't really weigh in on everyone on this forum yet...
but I suppose there will be plenty of time...

Look, I’m a McLaren fan through and through, but I just read that Kimi was the fastest out there, pulling off 92 laps without a single engine failure. It makes me think they might have finally sorted their reliability issues, which probably puts them right at the top of the hunt for the Constructors' Championship...
I guess someone else will definitely be chasing them, likely putting everything they have into defending their titles, while those Ferrari underachievers are desperate to claw their way back to the front... though I keep hearing rumors that Ferrari is struggling with that V8 engine
Then you have BMW and Williams... both are trying to prove they don't need the other to succeed...
And I expect some personal vendettas to pop up too... there are enough new faces looking to make a name for themselves...
With a budget like Toyota's, they really should be in a league of their own, but apparently, money doesn't help when you can't recruit the right people to build a decent car
As for Barrichello, I don't think we can judge his talent yet since he's never really had the chance to drive on his own terms; we'll see how he handles things now that he actually has some freedom. And Ralf? He was never really a driver to me... he just rides on his brother's coattails (not that I wouldn't if I could)🤣
I've already mentioned that Fisichella irritates me, so I assume Alonso will naturally outperform him, mostly because I respect Alonso (regardless of the fact that he's joining McLaren)😉
The guy has already shown what he's capable of this season...
I am expecting a massive rivalry (I'm not even sure how to spell rivalry 🤣)
between Kimi Räikkönen and Fernando Alonso...
And I honestly can't wait to see Barrichello overtake Michael Schumacher... or better yet, give him the finger just like Juan Pablo Montoya did "that" time🤣 there you go, for all the years to come🤣

Sandra Turner22, you really don't seem to grasp the connection here at all. 🙂

Wait, you're telling me Fernando Alonso and Renault are only looking at fourth place? Honestly, I find that hard to swallow. LOL.

Thinking Alonso and Ford would only take fourth? That's just funny.

It would be much more realistic if we swapped Ferrari and Ford instead...🤣
