1. Who’s actually running the show when it comes to the psychology side of things?
2. Why bother with four different modes if none of them can even spot a double thread? 🤔
3. Any idea why this PDF doesn't have that tiny little bit of extra detail we usually see in the US versions?

Hey, did you end up reporting that duplicate thread?

Where am I supposed to file this? 🤷 🙈
There’s even someone over on the psychoanalyst's couch advertising their services.

Just click that little checkbox right under the username, next to that little circle showing if someone's online or offline. A box will pop up where you can type in why you're reporting them, and then just hit send. 🙂 That report goes straight to the moderators handling that PDF. Go ahead and flag those ads.

Thanks again, rustydrifter10. 🙂

I actually knew about that little icon, but I honestly never gave much thought to whether I should be flagging duplicate posts on a PDF alongside the four mods.
I was originally planning to just shoot a message directly to a mod—since they're usually the ones hanging around the forum more often—but I wasn't quite sure who specifically handles that side of things. I know you take care of the hazelnut section, plus the US and general stuff. 🤷

(And hey, you're totally right—when I first noticed it, there were only about 77 registered users, and none of us even considered that reporting stuff would actually make life easier for the mods
again -> 🙈)

Sometimes they just miss it or don't have the chance to jump on here—they aren't lurking on the forum twenty-four seven, after all! You might want to shoot them a quick DM just to give them a heads-up that they’ve actually got a duplicate thread running.

The R&D team is still around, don't worry. It's not like the mods have disappeared from the forum entirely; they’re mainly focused on reviewing appeals regarding moderator decisions now. However, since Psychology doesn't have its own dedicated staff at the moment, you can always reach out directly to the admins or just post right here on the community board. Honestly, in cases like this, it’s usually enough to just file a report or shoot over a quick message.

Do you think I could actually be a good fit for psychology school? I've got a written recommendation from my former moderator calling me—no joke—a genius. 🙂

Oh man, Michelle Alvarez8, you really hit the nail on the head with this one. You’re totally blowing my mind here. 😠
---

I honestly just love seeing mods who actually show up—maybe I was just being a bit too sensitive about it earlier, who knows? 😁

It would be nice if they actually felt some sort of urge to chat with the "residents" of their little PDF world—you know, like they're part of a social community or something rather than just... well, whatever this is. 😬

I mean, look at the stats: there are 77 people online right now, yet it feels like nobody is even out there to shovel the snow off the driveway! Why is human psychology such a lost cause sometimes? 🤔

(Seriously though, I just want to talk this out—I'm genuinely curious, and no, I'm not part of any weird forum cliques or anything.)

Right now, the admins are mostly tied up handling appeals for moderator decisions over in the Psychology section whenever someone files a complaint.

Hey, take that as a compliment! Whenever I drop a post, you know it’s actually worth reading. 😁
