Quick question - pre-ejaculation...

So, I have a question here:
Leading up to orgasm and ejaculation, there is this mucus being released the whole time.
I understand that it doesn't contain sperm, though it might possibly include some.
I am looking for a precise explanation regarding what this is, how it works, and why it happens. If you could provide some links instead, I suppose I can just do my own research.

That's totally normal.
Actually, that fluid is the reason behind plenty of unplanned pregnancies.

I suspect there might be some traces of sperm in the service fluid, though probably just in small amounts. Either way, it's a risk I'm not willing to take.

If there was an ejaculation recently, then yeah, there’s definitely sperm present.
If nothing has happened in the last few days, though—then it's less likely...
But let's be real—with younger guys, you've got random erections and constant arousal, so none of these variables are particularly reliable.
The whole point of that fluid is just lubrication—to prevent friction and irritation during sex.

There is ALWAYS at least one sperm cell present in that fluid.

In other words, even if there happens to be some sperm present in a lubricant, it’s nowhere near enough to result in pregnancy.

It’s completely irrelevant. A guy with only one sperm cell in his entire ejaculate is basically useless when it comes to fertility. Period.

The baseline for infertility starts at 13.5 million sperm per milliliter; anything north of 20 million is what doctors consider a normal count.
