Just one quick question—why aren't some of my emojis animating? 😕

Some just aren't animated 😁

For instance:
a smiley like this isn't animated --> 😳
but one like this is -->

I think I phrased that poorly, my bad.

Every smiley face is actually just a code, right? Like a colon followed by something else.
The problem is, sometimes when I type it out, it won't convert into an actual emoji; it just stays as a bunch of punctuation.

Do you get what I'm asking here?😕

It’s probably just because someone used a capital letter where you didn't, or vice versa... little things like that matter.
So basically 🙂 and 😛op: isn't the same thing as 😬 and 😬... it's not even close 😁
