Ransomware attack: My files are encrypted

Hey there. So, my PC just got hit by some nasty malware that basically nuked all my files—photos, videos, music, you name it. Everything’s been turned into this unreadable .crypt extension now. It looks like this: my old photo is suddenly 111.jpg.crypt
It’s the same deal with everything else. In a desperate attempt to fix things, I tried formatting the drive and doing a full system reinstall, but nope—everything stayed exactly the same. This stuff is incredibly important to me, so if anyone has any leads, PLEASE help me out..

you could try scrubbing that one .crypt file, though I wouldn't hold my breath... if that doesn't work, they've got you cornered unless you cough up the cash. if it's showing you where to pay, you're stuck.

It doesn't say anything. It’s just like I said—there's gotta be a way out of this somewhere.😢
