It’s been happening for quite a while now. Every so often, I get this stinging sensation all over my body, and I’ve noticed these tiny red spots popping up on my arms, legs, and thighs.
They usually fade away after a bit.
I brought it up with my doctor, and he performed a simple skin test—just applying pressure to the spots—and assured me there was nothing to worry about.
However, browsing through some other health forums, I’ve come across conflicting information. Some say they might be harmless allergies, but others suggest they could point to internal bleeding.
Has anyone else dealt with something similar?

It’s definitely an allergy. My girlfriend deals with the exact same thing. It all seems to depend on the "wind," if you catch my drift... sometimes when a strange breeze kicks up, I just break out suddenly. It’s almost like a sudden flash of light, you know?🙂

And then, just as quickly, it vanishes. Maybe after a few minutes, maybe fifteen... it varies depending on the day.

That would be great if it were true, but I highly doubt it. Those spots don't just vanish overnight; they tend to darken up over a day or two and then linger, becoming almost invisible but still very much there for quite a while.
Anyway, thanks.

Don't just take this at face value.
I’m well aware that those little bumps can pop up as a reaction to something in your diet that just isn't sitting right with you...
Or maybe it's a sensitivity to your laundry detergent...
It could even be an allergic reaction to just about anything under the sun.
Then there's the possibility of a staph infection...
Or perhaps it's an infection or irritation centered around the hair follicle—especially if these things are appearing right in your pores...
Anyway, here are a few observations I just thought of.

Why were you squeezing those dots? 🙄 ? For what reason? Did they just vanish under pressure?

Don't forget about sun allergies this time of year. I've actually struggled with the sun myself—didn't have any issues until I hit my mid-20s. Usually, it just shows up as these little allergic spots on my skin. It feels like people are becoming allergic to pretty much everything lately, though.
