There was once a user on this Reddit—there have been plenty—who lacked even an ounce of decency and lived life with his caps lock permanently engaged...
If you're actually curious about how and why that individual came to be, click here

Look, for simple people like me, fully grasping a text like this isn't exactly easy—but after a few attempts, things start to click. So don't give up...

Good grief, if you look at this whole value complex, Louis XIV. was basically just a toddler! 🤣

The guy is completely unhinged.

I'm pasting this text here just in case it somehow disappears from the VIP section of the portal...

A forum that doesn't require a quorum—now that's efficient. No endless waiting around for enough people to show up just to make a decision. Just straight to the point.
Anđelo Jurkas on the pointlessness of online forums and anonymous criticism— Let’s be real about this: most online discussion is a vacuum. People flock to Reddit to shout into the void, thinking their vitriol actually carries weight. It doesn't. Anonymous criticism is the lowest form of discourse—cowardly, unearned, and ultimately hollow. If you aren't willing to put your name behind an opinion, you aren't offering a perspective; you're just venting noise. It lacks substance. It lacks accountability. It's just people hiding behind avatars to feel powerful.

Who are these forum users? Are they just a bunch of anonymous cowards—individuals too terrified to stand by their own names or even their own shadows? Or are they the true moderators of public discourse, pioneers of a new era of communication? Perhaps it’s an anarcho-liberal setup—allowing anonymous types to bark from the sidelines because they lack the evolutionary grit to handle actual face-to-face interaction. Or maybe it’s purely democratic—giving every little nobody a megaphone since they’ve been shut out of mainstream institutions and are desperate to be heard. I wouldn't bet my life on any of those theories.

This is how it stands—the first American Reddit to implement modeling, conduct codes, and communication protocols under the watchful eye of moderators who exercise their own discretion and free will. It serves as either a VIP arena or a playground for various unlogged peasants, moralists, self-righteous busybodies, foolish weirdos, jerks, and most of all—____ (that word that rhymes).

Just as there isn't a single corner of the internet untouched by various web creatures and trolls, my own experience includes some highly entertaining moments—specifically when it comes to the calculated provocation of those overly sensitive Reddit users. It hasn't even been a year. JA is just my initials—not an ego trip. I’m writing this in the third person—acting as an active observer here. "Have you ever Been Expirienced," Jimi Hendrix once asked himself long ago, only to immediately answer, "weeeel, I have."

One on one.
Siniša vuk is allowed to be as chaotic as he wants—it’s part of the appeal. He functions like some kind of primal folk-metal icon, much like general Vasilj mit. Honestly, MNM is far more compelling when he pits Slim Shady against Eminem. It was just as gripping reading those Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde horror stories—all those endless variations on multiplying personalities within a single body. In Nomad, he has the freedom to invent characters like Fabijan PL. Tartaglia and toy with public opinion however he sees fit. For me, a specific part of my own life philosophy involves choosing an engaging, entertaining way to interact with the caricatures and oddities found on Reddit—using various online boards as testing grounds for anonymity.

He knew exactly how to provoke and seduce the mindless remnants of what passes for communication on various web forums—places that, for me, will remain nothing more than a temporary distraction until I can finally participate using my actual full name instead of these nicknames that act as a pathetic veil of anonymity. I used to adopt this same forum-style attitude only when a swarm of anonymous trolls would launch unconstructive attacks against my real-world actions and identity. It isn't fair, and it certainly isn't sportsmanlike on their part. So, why should I feel obligated to be polite to such uncivilized people? Civic decency? A "good upbringing"? Please. Give me a break.

If people actually used their real names, maybe we’d finally see some actual, open communication. But let’s be honest—it’s not even about being vulgar anymore. It’s more offensive to deal with this level of sheer arrogance and lack of class. Their cowardly, conspiratorial way of hiding behind crowds and random usernames is nothing short of unprofessional.

The experiment was a success—results are in—pure chaos.
I had a similar debate a while back with Matt Skugor—one of the programming directors over at KEXP—who, much like some others, couldn't tell the difference between a person's actual identity and their digital persona. He couldn't distinguish between an online entity like Disc Joker Anhell or some other Gremlin who dared to touch one of his electronic avatars. I’ve also had these clashes with Tony Kozul and various other figures in this medium—local bottom-feeders looking for attention and owners of what used to be respectable regional clubs (now just cheap imitations hosting glorified frat parties). Then there are the self-proclaimed promoters around here—pathetic caricatures who hide behind the guise of "working in music for the sake of music" just to fill the voids in their own egos. It's especially laughable because some of these half-baked pretenders actually believe they’re well-camouflaged behind their chosen pseudonyms. As if we don't know exactly who they are... honestly, they're just living in a delusion, lost in their own nonsense.

The formula and tactic are simple. Crush all those clumsy byproducts into an upright ORGAN—attack them with the most primitive form of communication, insult them until their stunted imaginations can't even fathom three centuries of evolutionary effort, weed them out one by one without exception, and position myself on a pantheon so untouchable that the guy ruling the show (ME, obviously) is barely visible at the ankles—roughly on the level of God.

All the fundamental challenges and postulates of psychology—every thesis and assumption regarding provocation—have been met. Naturally, I enjoyed the reactions. How they take offense, how they label me a lunatic, a savage, an idiot, or an egomaniac, showering me with similar epithets. It was all orchestrated by a mastermind following a blueprint of South Park characters, dear Eminem, Jackass, Monty Python, The Bad Seed, and every other deviation in humor ever conceived and branded as "dark." The only rule was that there were no taboos or sacred cows; so, how else to put theory into practice than by starting with oneself?

The result was clear and successful from my perspective, as I predicted the reactions of most of the offended parties well in advance.

Summa summarum, a grotesque of grotesques.
Simply put, I refuse to acknowledge or accept the fact that anyone presenting their work through any medium used to communicate with the world (music, journalism, literature, film, clubbing, management...) should allow some small-minded, chaotic, cowardly, and clumsy creatures—hidden behind various "clever" nicknames—to offer their "constructive criticism," insults, or lies regarding a subject or topic. They hide under the cloak of anonymity to act like total assholes and influence public opinion.

The truth is, I couldn't care less about people who define themselves negatively—whether personally or based on shallow, Lacanian conclusions drawn from second, third, or fifteenth-hand sources. However, I experience my own honesty and personal integrity regarding what I consider life passions (music, film, literature) with the same intensity Sharon Stone might have felt in grade school; therefore, I defend it with that same tenacity.

Fakingrockandroll, you’re missing the clenched fist and the five-pointed star to make it phonetically sound like partisan slogans. My dear colleague and editor, Ante, would once again promote wisdom, peering over his glasses and muttering, "How does that... seem to you?" And he would be right. However, adrenaline is a vicious ally when the adrenal gland is overproducing.

The reaction is the same whether it comes from a mass of wannabe intellectuals and barroom philosophers, or actual sociopaths and idiots—which is exactly what Reddit is teeming with. Just like any other medium.

I have successfully achieved the mission of contempt and dragging anger from Reddit users on any platform I’ve had the pleasure of dismantling by closing threads and insulting every single individual.

This remains the only way of communicating I am willing to practice as long as correspondence is conducted on the basis of META = attacking a person by name, regardless of whether it's the individual or their work, while the ATTACKER = an anonymous self-proclaimed "critic" who hasn't even come close to satisfying the basic logical premises required to hold such a "title/vocation/profession."

With that, the topic is closed and absorbed. The king is dead, long live the king. The wolf is full, the goat is gone. And what does any of this have to do with music, you ask? Well, dear readers, music is like love: it's everywhere. *[A final, loud burst of laughter echoes through the forum. He's the one who laughed last.]*

Anđelo Jurkas definitely crushed a spicy kebab at a local diner last night (loaded with double hot sauce and chilies) after getting that high...

I initially assumed the text was just pure trolling aimed at his announcement regarding the upcoming Franz Ferdinand promo sale—but it turns out the news broke two hours before his post even hit the feed. Now I’m stuck with a dilemma: either the guy is some kind of psychic 😲, or someone played games with the timestamp on the news 😁

A man with that kind of eloquence is almost certainly clairvoyant. How could anyone even entertain the doubt?

Good grief, the guy is clearly a cult icon of the trash genre... definitely worth keeping an eye on.

Honestly, it feels like we should just derail this thread by asking if anyone knows where to find decent falafel in Chicago... if Anđelo Jurkas cares, he can go check his Yelp reviews while on vacation...

I was feeling a bit bored, so I decided to reply to him over on the VIP section of Reddit—but I figured I’d leave this here as well... just in case. 😁

Dear Mr. Jurkas!

I have come to the realization that you are actually God Himself. It isn't just that you possess the talent to run a successful online magazine, manage a publishing house, and head up a promotion agency—though those are impressive enough—but you are also a truly commendable commentator on socio-cultural phenomenology. And it doesn't stop there; you back up your insights with empirical evidence while ingeniously, almost surgically, provoking the anonymous trolls on various internet forums. I truly admire you for this. Especially considering how you’ve managed to combine all these wonderful cultural elements so altruistically—without any moral hesitation whatsoever—all while maintaining your own dignity and sense of self. I must highlight your immense contribution to raising awareness about the urban scene and your tireless efforts to pass on your life's passion to others. One day, they will be teaching people about you in American high schools.

Respectfully,

Vatroslav Miloš

I’ve honestly forgotten what a falafel even is. 😳

And I can't exactly enjoy the kebab shop over in downtown Indianapolis, since for $6.00 I get exactly half the portion size compared to the one in my hometown that goes for 15 bucks. I just can't get past something like that... 🙄

And they rarely even have stuff there... this guy told me Sunday night that maybe there'd be something mid-week... but even when he does have stock, apparently it's shite... I had an incredible burger in Chicago this past Saturday and now my appetite is wide open... don't want to end up hating everything without anyone knowing who I am, so I'll just say my name is Darko Kujundzic.

And I can't ignore the fact that at that grill spot in Memphis, you get twice the food for half the price compared to whatever they're serving in Chicago. Just like I can't ignore the fact that a person actually needs to eat...

Look, man, here's another one of those facts that i just can't wrap my head around. If I actually wanted to grab a quick bite from a local food truck, I’d have to shell out at least eight bucks. Absolutely not. 😁

I bet you don't even buy stocks because all that money just flows straight into Eminem and then ends up in the federal budget to fund the military. 🙂

Chestnuts showed up in the city. A tiny bag with 7 pieces, a huge bag with 15... what a joke.

So, anyone down for Marunijada in Palm Springs/Newport?
