I find it difficult to believe the level of misconduct some moderators permit here. They seem content to disguise their own aggressive ideological biases as rule violations, hiding behind the vague and nebulous label of "trolling."
Please consider this for yourselves.

I find it hard to believe, yet something positive has actually emerged from American clerical fascism.

The Australian Government has stepped in to block the marriage referendum from moving forward.-

Polls indicate that two-thirds of Americans support marriage equality, yet one cannot help but wonder if we might be heading toward a different outcome. The referendum could easily become a platform for spreading hate and fear, much like what we witnessed last week here in America.“

It is a pity the US Government didn't think to do the same.

If there had been a higher turnout, the referendum wouldn't have passed—that much is clear. Take a look at this data..

If you cross-reference the 2011 census data with the results of that homophobic marriage referendum, a pattern emerges. It seems the most conservative pockets of the country are precisely those areas where illiteracy and lack of education are at their peak, particularly in the rural South.
