Request to move this thread

So, regarding this specific thread. It’s currently sitting in the Teens section, whereas my actual intention was for it to be over in the US subforum. I suspect I might have even originally posted it under US, but somehow it ended up being moved elsewhere—though I honestly haven't a clue who did that.

To provide some context:
The Teens section is designed specifically for Teens, covering a vast spectrum of topics relevant to them. In contrast, the US section focuses more specifically on relationship issues. My particular situation falls squarely into that latter category.

Furthermore, I imagine the Teens area is populated by a much younger demographic that probably doesn't find my specific predicament particularly relatable. I have a feeling that if this were in the US section, I would receive a significantly higher volume of responses, and likely more substantial ones too, given that there are surely older individuals there with more life experience. There are also likely people dealing with the exact same thing I am.

Even if my initial post comes across as somewhat immature (and perhaps some subsequent replies do as well), I truly believe the core of my issue is quite serious, which is why I'm requesting that this thread be moved to the US section.

The Teens subforum was actually established because teenagers were starting to open way too many threads on the US and LES boards. 🙂
However, moving a thread isn't just about how old you are; it’s also about the actual content being discussed.
I went back and re-read your posts in that thread, and honestly, that isn't the kind of stuff we typically allow to stay on the US board.
I suppose you could say there's a bit of a bias involved, yes. But my co-moderator and I have agreed that we won't be moving the thread back to the US section.

Since you keep bringing up my age—I suppose I still technically fall under the category of Teens :P

Anyway, if you happened to glance at my last two posts, you might notice that my situation is taking a bit of a turn (behavioral stuff around girls, love triangles... that sort of thing), and I suspect it isn't quite as juvenile as my earlier posts suggested. I think one could infer this simply from the fact that I wrote my penultimate post three days ago and have received exactly one response since then. It seems obvious that Teens aren't particularly interested in these kinds of romantic dilemmas, so there isn't much point in keeping the topic over there.

Well, looking at the first page of the Teens section now, I see maybe seven or eight romance-related topics out of forty total, and even then, a good chunk of them appear to be closed.

p.s. Why don't you just open a megathread on the US or LES where people can dump topics similar to mine, instead of constantly redirecting everything to Teens?

I already mentioned that the Gen Z subforum exists for a reason.
Whatever belongs on the USA board should stay there.
