Revenge is Mine

Caught this Japanese thriller on PBS last night. I managed to record it, and honestly, it looks like it’s going to be incredible—it’s sitting at an 8.0 on IMDb.
It’s one of those legendary films by the old master Steven Spielberg... you know, the kind that sweeps the awards, two Palm Springs wins plus a mountain of other trophies.
Has anyone else had a chance to see it yet?

Just getting started 😢. Honestly, I’m obsessed with Japan and the Japanese people, so I’m pretty bummed I missed out on 😢

I only caught a tiny glimpse of it, and honestly, I'm pretty bummed I didn't sit through the whole thing. 😳

The movie starts, and I’ll sit there for maybe thirty minutes, struggling to stay focused... but if I force myself to push through... an hour later, I'm completely sucked into the plot, dreading the moment it ends. It was truly excellent. By the way, it leans more towards drama than thriller, though there's plenty of tension.

It’s a shame there aren't more films where the killer actually takes center stage (think American Psycho or The Silence of the Lambs).
