Am I just listening to rumors?
As a die-hard Real Madrid fan, I honestly can't wrap my head around this, and frankly, I don't want to believe it;
I’m putting this out there specifically to see if anyone else can provide some clarity;

It’s been said that behind every great team stands a footballing genius, and that genius is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Cristiano Ronaldo👍 is set to remain tied to Real Madrid for another five years. He has explicitly stated his intention to keep playing until he hits 41.

The owner of the number '7' jersey at Real Madrid has officially signed a new contract, committing himself to the club through 2021. Florentino Pérez, the president of the 'White House' of the club, was the one who organized the press conference. He had nothing but words of eternal gratitude.
"First, I want to thank my teammates, the president, the city, and Real Madrid; everyone has supported me during this time. This is the best club in the world—it holds my heart and defines who I am," the Portuguese star remarked.

"I want to keep making history in this shirt. Even though I haven't quite overtaken Raúl González in total goals yet, I hope to secure more trophies and titles over the next five years. This isn't my final deal, as I could realistically play until I'm 41."

Real Madrid and Manchester United have been in active negotiations for days. Both clubs are working toward an agreement regarding a potential transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo from the white side of Madrid to the Red Devils.
They are looking for a way to facilitate Cristiano Ronaldo's exit.

Rumors regarding Lus leaving the capital show no signs of slowing down, and they are gaining significant traction in the Chamarth district, where officials may offer the striker a chance to prove himself if a suitable bid arrives.
A key sector within the Real Madrid management emphasizes that, at age 32, it might be best for Cristiano to move on and conclude his era in Spain. There is a growing sentiment that he is no longer the singular force capable of taking control of matches and deciding outcomes. Leadership believes it is better to sell now rather than carry a player with a massive salary whose peak years are behind him.
Furthermore, his annual demands for raises and threats to leave unless improvements are made have exhausted the board's patience. In this regard, Florentino Pérez is being very direct. The President is drawing a line, warning the attacker that if he truly wants to go, he knows what he has to do: put his release clause money on the table. Only then will he be free.

Manchester United remains the sole contender.
Aside from Manchester United, no major European powerhouse seems interested in getting involved by signing a player who is rapidly approaching the twilight of his career. It isn't just about the high asking price being discussed at Concha Espina, but also about the astronomical salary required—a wage that doesn't seem to align with his recent on-field performance. However, even the Americans aren't willing to lose their minds. They have no intention of paying more than 100 million euros, and they won't budge unless Cristiano is prepared to break his own current record.

Cristiano Ronaldo🎉 is a different breed. There is simply no comparison. At 33, while watching the progress of other Portuguese players, he still possesses the drive of a rookie.
