Beyond that, these narratives follow the exact logic of Orwell’s *Animal Farm*, where the core premise is that all animals are equal—except for some who are just "more equal" than others.

It's nothing but pure hypocrisy. There's no unity here, and certainly no love. We've fought, we're fighting, and we'll keep fighting. We've forced our will on others, we're doing it now, and we'll keep forcing it on them in the future.

Fred, you're right. There’s no unity as long as people aren't at peace with themselves. As long as ignorance exists—and thank God there's plenty left on this planet—there will be suffering, war, pain... basically, an ignorance toward others born from an ignorance of one's own inner self. Call it karma, evolution, spirit, energy, consciousness, whatever... all those attempts, whether by the clueless or the slightly less clueless, stem from the same source. It's about using external experiences to find the path inward. And of course, external sensations feel infinitely more powerful than what's happening inside, so that kind of ignorance is actually pretty understandable.

In that light, I really like the idea Swami Samarpandana shared with me: being like a Lotus. Having deep, strong roots, drawing nourishment from the basics—water, earth—while living in the light. =) That’s the core symbolism of the Lotus, after all.

I’ve come to realize just how much people are operating on autopilot. Most of the chaos we deal with isn't actually driven by malice; it’s just a profound, widespread lack of awareness regarding how people and the world around us truly function.

I suppose the real challenge now is learning how to truly accept people, embracing both their perceived flaws and their virtues as part of the whole.🙂

I accept them as they are, driven by their own unconscious impulses, which is why I don't judge them or view them as malicious
