I’m starting this thread because I am honestly at a loss here—maybe someone can actually make sense of this for me. Since yesterday, I’ve been dealing with this pain at my crown, my head, my scalp... honestly, I can't even tell if it's the hair or something else entirely. It’s a localized pain on my head—specifically the front area—and it hurts just to touch the skin. To make matters weirder, this yellowish, tacky, resin-like substance has formed right over the painful spots. It isn't dandruff; it's more like a crusty, yellowish secretion. I noticed it immediately upon waking up this morning.
I have no clue what the culprit might be, but I will note a few things—just in case there's a connection. I had a very short buzz cut done about three days ago. Then, the day before yesterday, I was out in the sun and definitely felt a bit of a burn on my face—my skin got quite red. Yesterday, I was out riding my bike in the sun again, and there were moments where I was pushing through some pretty heavy wind. Maybe it’s all completely unrelated, but I figured I should mention it. Does anyone have any idea what this could be?
