The name alone tells you everything... My doctor is sending me in for some kind of battery of autonomous tests? What on earth does that even mean?

😕I mean, I’ve definitely heard the words "battery," "autonomous," and "tests" individually, but hearing all three lumped together like that? Never. And trust me, I've dealt with some pretty weird medical jargon before...

Look, the doctor probably just used some "casual" phrasing there, whatever that means. But basically? It’s code for you heading down to the lab for bloodwork. They usually run these panels when they suspect something like an autoimmune issue might be brewing. Just a heads up. Cheers.
