I’ve run into a bit of a headache with my Samsung printer, and honestly, it’s one of those incredibly stupid design flaws that just gets under my skin. When I’m running through a multi-page document and the paper tray runs dry mid-job, the machine doesn't just let me pop some more paper in and hit 'resume.' Instead, it forces me to go through this whole clunky ritual of opening the main cover—exactly like I’m swapping out toner cartridges—which is unnecessarily loud and just plain awkward. Is there any way to bypass this behavior or tweak the settings to make it more logical, and if so, who should I be talking to about a fix?

Maybe it was just built that way from the factory—I mean, sorry, but this feels like a bit of a minor issue if you ask me. Just load it up with plenty of paper so you don't have to worry about it, and honestly? I'm not really sure what else I can tell you or how else to help.

I used to own an Epson printer that was actually intuitive; if it ran low on paper, it would just give me a heads-up, and I could simply hit OK and keep the job running. It wasn’t about being lazy, it was just less aggravating than having to physically pop the lid open every single time—which is always such a loud, clunky nuisance when you just want to finish a document. Besides, I’m not a fan of cramming the tray full all at once since I make it a point to close off the feeder slot when I'm done to keep the dust out.
