Signature thread

I haven't been able to find a recent thread regarding signature settings, so I figured I would just ask here. I've noticed quite a few people have links included in their signatures, yet whenever I attempt to insert one using [url], I simply get an error message stating, "BB code url is not allowed." I am left wondering if there was some point where adding links was disabled, essentially allowing those who had already set them up to keep their links while preventing anyone else from adding new ones?[/url]

Is there any way I can tweak my signature? Right now, it’s just a raw YouTube link:
... but I was thinking it would look much cleaner if the URL was hidden behind some hyperlinked text—something like "If you can't hear it, read this"

Sorry, maybe I wasn't being clear enough, but I was wondering if there's any way you could help me make that quote clickable on the YouTube link in my signature? Is that even possible? Any advice would be huge. I really want to have a quote attached to the YouTube link in my signature just like some of the other users on this forum do.
