Hey everyone! So, I ran into a bit of a situation with one of my older SIM cards—it was basically on its last legs and needed replacing. I popped into an AT&T store, and the lady there was super sweet; she transferred my number over to the new card totally free of charge since we were pretty much neighbors. She did need to see my ID, obviously, and then handed me this piece of paper to sign... but, gosh, you know how I am. I’m always such a klutz, just rushing around from one thing to the next without really looking at what's right in front of me. I guess I didn't pay super close attention in the moment, but now I'm feeling a little jittery about it. Has anyone else dealt with signing paperwork like that lately? I get a bit paranoid about signing stuff if I'm not 100% sure I'm not accidentally agreeing to some random fine print I didn't intend to. Thanks in advance, and sorry if someone already posted about this! :-)

You can always fall back on the "temporary accounting error" excuse

The folks over at AT&T were kind enough to transfer my number to a new card for free since we live quite close to one another. They needed to see my driver's license, and they handed me some paperwork to sign. Since I tend to be a bit rushed and am always hurrying from one thing to the next, I didn't pay extremely close attention to the details. Now, I'm wondering if anyone else has dealt with signing similar documents recently? I suppose I'm feeling a little overly anxious about signing things, just fearing that I might accidentally agree to something I didn't intend to. Thanks in advance, and please excuse me if there is already a thread discussing this. :-)

Could you perhaps be a bit more specific...?!
Try to put it into a single sentence..
