She’s iconic as the action legend Ellen Ripley, but lately, she’s been killing it as Dr. Augustine in Avatar.

In my book, she is massively underrated. The Academy just keeps overlooking her, even though she’s been delivering flawless performances for years.

She’s my absolute favorite actress; I’ve honestly sat through entire movies just because she was in them. Take Ridley Scott's Exodus: Gods and Kings—I saw that in theaters, and even though she only had a brief appearance, she still stood out. 🕺 Then you have the mediocre stuff like Abduction and The Cold Light of Day, or the total trash that was The Assignment, but she still managed to be great in those too.

She was phenomenal in Copycat, and especially in Snow Cake, where she teamed up again with the late Alan Rickman after that genius comedy Galaxy Quest.

She completely blew me away in A Monster Calls.

She’s just so Charismatic. I love catching her interviews on YouTube.

She’s been a staple in Hollywood forever—I mean, think about the massive gap between her first Alien (1979) and Avatar (2009).

She might actually be my favorite actress, hands down. I just love that sharp, intelligent look she gets in her eyes, the way she carries herself when she talks, and those strong, defined facial features. Plus, she’s incredibly sexy.
That gaze and her whole vibe? Absolutely killer.

Turnitin is actually incredible. Even Avatar was decent when I watched it with it.

I didn't even realize he was in Avatar—if I had known, maybe I would’ve actually sat through more than ten minutes of it.

Honestly, I’m just bummed that she and Jamie Lee Curtis—literally the two coolest women to ever share a screen in the last 40 years—only teamed up in that random, mindless chick-flick, You Again. 🤦
It’s kind of like when Al Pacino and Robert De Niro finally shared the screen for once, only to end up in that mediocre thriller, Righteous Kill. 🤦

Great movie.
It’s one of those films you can just get lost in—and that's saying something coming from me, considering I usually struggle to focus on anything for more than ten minutes at a time.
