Skyscraper is an upcoming action thriller.

Will Ford—an American war veteran and former leader of an FBI hostage rescue team—specializes in evaluating skyscraper security. While working a job in China, a fire breaks out in the world's tallest and most secure high-rise, and suddenly, all eyes are on him. To clear his name, Will has to track down the culprits while simultaneously trying to save his family, who are currently trapped inside the building.

Man, good for her. She hasn't been in anything for ages, then she does "Scream 4" and just disappears again.

But honestly? This is exactly the kind of stuff you *need* to see on the big screen.

The last skyscraper that went up in flames was about 500 meters tall—now we’re looking at something pushing over 1,000 meters. By my math, that means this movie essentially doubles the amount of pure, unadulterated fun we get to witness! 🍿

To be fair, it isn't a bad flick. Sure, the plot is a bit thin—bordering on ridiculous, actually—but the action sequences? They really hit the mark. This is definitely one of those movies you need to see on the big screen to truly appreciate it. As for that ending, it feels like a wild mashup of "Rocky" and "In the Dragon's Nest"!

It’s a blast, honestly—definitely worth checking out if you’re a sucker for action flicks and anything starring The Rock. 👍

Visually, the thing is pretty slick too (the cinematography, the scale, those massive explosions), and there isn't a single dull moment, which is a huge plus since it never drags for a second; for a smaller-budget action movie, it’s actually quite solid. At certain points, I even got this vibe that it was basically a remake of Die Hard.

It looks like China is using yet another movie to announce they own Hollywood now.
But, since they couldn't bother finding an American actress who actually speaks English, they really should have invested in better dubbing.
