Slack

Hopefully this PDF works for starting a thread.

Tried using Slack for the first time today and I'm clearly lost. Where do I go to actually show up as online to everyone else on the network?
Also, is there a way to kill those annoying emoji animations so they just stay basic? No clue how to fix that either.
