I'm not entirely sure if there’s any way to check how long a user's ban actually lasts—so I have to ask this bluntly: did those two really get hit with a permanent ban?
If they did—and without getting into the messy specifics of what happened—I would honestly advocate for a review of that decision and perhaps even some form of clemency... maybe we could mark the occasion with something like Independence Day in friendly Tajikistan.🙂 In my view, both of them—as eccentric as they may be in their own particular ways—are essentially endemic species of this forum; without them, the community feels significantly diminished.
Now, while I am someone who generally adheres strictly to the rules, I can't help but recall that not-so-distant case involving that one "renegade outcast star"—where the whole thing was overturned because they looked too closely at the repeated cloning of a banned user. In my humble opinion, there were far fewer actual justifications for banning that person than there are for these two. So, I suppose, a reversal is possible.
