Look, this was obviously bound to happen eventually, but I’d really appreciate a straight answer as to why I got partially banned today—especially since I was just jumping into discussions without trolling, keeping things honest and civil, so if you could just tell me why instead of giving me some canned list of reasons, that would be great.

Honestly, man, it feels like every single time you post on the US Soccer boards, you’re basically just handing a red flag to those few forum users who haven't blocked you yet—and the reason they're so wound up is because of your constant one-liner snark and little jabs that don't actually have any substance behind them. It just draws heat to you... and more often than not, it ends with people straight-up insulting you.

Look, you write the way you write—it’s clearly just who you are, and nobody’s asking you to change—but the way you talk to people means you aren't adding anything of actual value to the site... nothing worth mentioning, really.

Take care.

And yeah, before anyone says "there are no arguments"...

2. You end up baiting people into getting pissed off, which usually just leads to them insulting you.

3. Look, you write how you write—clearly you can't change it, and nobody's asking you to—but the way you talk makes it impossible for this soccer sub to offer anything worth reading.

4. Later.

5. And before you say "no arguments."

1. My posts get unfairly labeled as being hostile toward the progress of our sport, when really I'm just pushing for what we actually need—a total REVOLUTION.

2. Of course, those people are just saboteurs trying to keep things messy, while anyone actually trying to fix the chaos in American soccer is stuck in the crosshairs.

3. Honestly, just look at the facts: I’m the only one here who doesn't engage with you guys on the soccer threads, even though I talk perfectly fine with normal people in every other discussion on the site.

4. Since when does "later" have to be the closing line?

5. What is that even supposed to mean?

I'm not doing the whole polite sign-off thing until we sort out this ridiculous situation and this stupid way of parting ways.

So, where are the counterarguments to all that stuff I just laid out? And while we're at it, what exactly was the deal with this partial ban—to be blunt, which specific post was supposedly "crossing the line"?

It just kind of invites people to get heated, and more often than not, that ends with someone lashing out and getting insulting.

Look, you write how you write—clearly, it's just your style and nobody’s asking you to change your DNA—but this way of communicating isn't exactly adding anything of value to the conversation on Football Weekly.

Cheers.

In b4 "no arguments."

Well, I guess they should probably go after the ones actually being abusive instead of targeting the guy who's just annoying them, right? 😕

Well, yeah, exactly... players get hit with yellow cards for their actions, while trolls just end up getting a partial ban for being pests... 😉

So, since you're calling me a troll, why don't you explain exactly what I did wrong to the whole damn community?

Larry Rivera83 said:Exactly—you hand out cards for actual fouls, but you just troll someone with a partial ban 😉

Are you seriously trying to play me for a fool here, or what? 😕
Look, I’m saying this guy wrote that he’s basically a "red rag" to other people—he didn't say he was a troll. He just said he gets under people's skin even when he hasn't actually done anything wrong. He didn't list any specific rules broken or anything to pin on Henry Hernandez7; he just noted that he's an annoyance to others. It's like if a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan annoys a bunch of Eagles fans—you don't just kick him out of the stadium just because his presence makes people grumpy.
Honestly, I don't give a damn if he bothers people. You should bring a guy back immediately before he even has a chance to mess up, and then maybe have the moderator explain why they jumped the gun in the first place. Wait until there's an actual violation, *then* you take him out.

Hey Henry Hernandez7, they tried to mess with my head too—just straight-up psychological warfare for no reason, trying to get under my skin. But I'm not letting them win. You guys aren't gonna break me!!

listen to this guy 🤦

Henry Hernandez7 hasn't contributed a single useful thing since he joined the soccer boards—not one. I still remember those brainless, idiotic takes he pushed back in the regional league 🤦

honestly, people like him have no business being in the soccer community. there are others just like him who should probably be banned entirely—their whole purpose seems to be derailing discussions, throwing out nonsense arguments, and just annoying anyone actually trying to have a normal conversation.

I’m just saying, this guy wrote that he feels like a lightning rod for everyone else—he didn't say he was some troll, he just said he feels like he’s getting on people's nerves even though he hasn't actually done anything wrong yet... he didn't list any specific rules he broke, he just mentioned that he's bothering folks, which is like saying a fan of the Los Angeles Angels is annoying a bunch of Dodgers fans and therefore needs to be banned immediately just because they're irritating them.
And honestly, I don't give a damn if he's annoying people, just bring the guy back before things go too far and maybe we can have the moderators look into why they did this in the first place, because waiting until he actually breaks a rule to kick him out seems a bit much...

Hey Henry Hernandez7, they tried to mess with me too, just messing with people's heads for no reason, trying to get under my skin, but I'm not letting them win, they aren't gonna push me around!!

Look, the guy is constantly trolling whenever US Soccer comes up, it's not about "annoying" some group of die-hard fans, he's actively trolling the US Soccer threads (!)... seriously, if you don't know the history here, please just don't comment.

So, basically, we tolerated him for an entire year, we gave him advice, he apologized a bunch of times, we forgave him over and over, but he just wouldn't listen...

Man, life's a bitch...

Honestly... if you don't actually know what's going on here, please just sit this one out.

So, basically, we gave him a free pass for about a year—we gave him advice, let him apologize a bunch of times, and we even moved past it, but he just wouldn't listen...

Man, life's a bitch...

I mean, I'm not really "in the loop" since I've never even been part of that specific group, but I was just following what the moderator wrote when I was replying. If he was indeed trolling, well, I guess rustydrifter10 will decide how to handle it.

Henry Hernandez7 said:Honestly, I think this was pretty much inevitable. It was always going to happen eventually.

Look, you saw this coming from a mile away. I’ve been going back and forth with you for months now, trying to make sense of things, but honestly? Nothing has changed. It's the same old story.

Henry Hernandez7 said:Look, I’m just looking for a straight answer here. Can someone give me a clear explanation as to why I got hit with a partial ban today? I was participating in a few discussions—nothing crazy, no trolling, just being honest and keeping things civil—so I’m a bit lost. Is there a specific reason for this, or can we skip the bulleted lists and just talk about it like normal people?

Look, the decision regarding your partial access wasn't some sudden epiphany that hit us yesterday or today—it was already set in stone, it just finally became official. It’s not like we haven't discussed this with you before, and honestly, you didn't even seem shocked when it came up. You have to understand how this works: we don't hand out partial access based on just one single post or even a handful of them. One bad day or a few off comments aren't going to be the reason someone gets denied. We look at the big picture—your entire body of work and your total contribution to the PDF project—and that’s exactly how we evaluated your situation too.

Ryan Nguyen47 said:hey Henry Hernandez7, they tried to screw me over too, just messing with people's heads for no damn reason

Thanks for having my back, man!

I don't really let it get to me, though. It’s basically a one-track mind operation over there, and there’s just no room for someone like me in their little dictatorship-style rulebook.

It seems like their only way to keep things quiet is to shut everyone down so they don't have to actually deal with anyone bringing real arguments to the table.

3. I still can't get over those brainless, idiotic takes he was dropping in the regional league thread. 🤦

4. I don't think people like him belong in any soccer discussion, and there are others like him who really ought to be kicked out because their whole purpose seems to be wrecking debates, jumping in with garbage arguments, and just annoying anyone trying to have a normal conversation.

1. We can't ban him, we can only quote him, and hey, it's a forum for God's sake.

2. That's just a subjective opinion. Besides, what exactly have you contributed to this board?

3. The regional league thread is a great place to pitch ideas, even if you happen to disagree with them. That's literally why forums exist.

4. From what I see—and I think most people agree once they actually think about it—what are you even doing here? Do you even understand the point of an online community?
Let me enlighten you a bit. Try presenting an actual reasoned opinion for once. But since you're as narrow-minded as 90% of the guys on this board, you seem to think that participating in a discussion means you're forced to support "something" just because it doesn't align with your own vision.

1. I've never been trolling, unless you count stating an opinion that happens to clash with what the majority thinks as trolling.

2. You don't need to be an expert to see how I'm being picked on by the crowd as a lone individual here.

3. And honestly, it hasn't even been a year, it’s been about six months; you guys told me to stop having my own opinions, and I kept hoping you'd eventually change and just accept me for who I am, and look, I've forgiven you all because you've pretty much insulted me constantly—even though I have NEVER once insulted you—and yeah, I really wasn't going to follow your advice and just lose my sense of self, because I won't.

Yeah, I honestly thought the crew behind that PDF would finally start making some sense, but apparently, I was dreaming.

Look, rustydrifter10, there’s nothing you can really do about your situation, and honestly, that’s fine. It is what it is. Just had a quick technical question for you though, since I can't even pull up a quote from that PDF.

That's just how this specific group is set up; they're basically blocking access to the PDF. If you want to be able to read it, your best bet is to just log out.

What a joke... I mean, at least they haven't blocked us from posting yet, even if we can't even read stuff properly.
