Solar panels for off-grid cabins

Hey everyone, sorry if I’m doubling up on an existing thread—I’m still finding my way around here and couldn't quite track it down. Basically, I was wondering if anyone has gone through the process of setting up solar panels at a small cabin or vacation home? It’s pretty remote with no grid connection, but since it's tiny, the power needs aren't huge—just enough for some lighting and maybe a TV. Does anyone have advice on the best setup for something like this? Should I be looking at buying new gear or hunting for used stuff?
