Does anyone have recommendations for some kind of calming supplement... ideally something that doesn't come with the risk of dependency or anything like that?
I’m mostly talking about those moments when you get that knot of anxiety in your stomach—the kind that keeps you tossing and turning at night and just won't let you sleep.
I figured I'd check here to see if anyone has had any personal experience with certain brands or specific types of remedies that actually work.
Thanks in advance

Just when you get those butterflies in your stomach, can't sleep, and all that.

Valerian drops are usually your best bet. Lemon balm and passionflower work wonders too... You can find them in teas, tinctures, or tablets. Just head over to a local health food store or a natural pharmacy and see what they have on the shelves.🙂

Maybe give Persen a shot? It's plant-based, so it isn't addictive. I'd suggest taking maybe two or three tablets right before you head to bed. Or, you could try some St. John's Wort tea, though I guess you should be careful since that can interfere with birth control if you happen to be using it.

Yeah—honestly, if you're looking at Persen, grabbing the Persen forte version is probably your best bet since they pack a bit more of a punch. You can also find the standard Persen for a cheaper price, though the Persen forte capsules tend to be stronger than those tablets. Since they're plant-based, the most important thing is that they won't get you hooked, but they still do a solid job of helping you unwind and chill out.

bluegull18 said:Exactly—I’ve always found that if you're looking for something effective, going with the Persen Forte version is really the way to go since those are a bit more potent. There is also the standard Persen which is a little easier on the wallet, though the Forte comes in capsules and packs a much stronger punch than the regular tablets. Since they are all plant-based, the most important thing for me is that they don't cause any dependency issues, yet they still manage to provide such a lovely, soothing sense of relaxation and calm.

I have to agree with you there,👍
Personally, I've found that Persen Forte works quite well for me.
