Hey everyone—I’m starting this thread because I’m honestly not sure where else to dump this...
So, I finally picked up my glasses from the optometrist yesterday and put them on for the first time in my life (I’ve never worn corrective lenses before). My prescription is -0.75 in both eyes, but here’s the thing: when I have them on, my left eye starts tearing up uncontrollably, while the right one is just slightly irritated. Is this some kind of temporary adjustment period? I get similar issues occasionally with my sunglasses, though I suppose that might be a completely different issue entirely... maybe?
